The Woman's Club of White Plains Foundation

The Woman's Club of White Plains Foundation (formed in 2011 as a 501 (c) 3) oversees many yearly projects that help fulfill our Charitable Giving. Club members perform all of our Acts of Kindness projects, integral to our core mission. These projects include but are not limited to, providing Welcome to Your Home kits for those moving out of the Coachman Family Shelter into permanent housing. We also hold an annual Fundraiser to benefit college-bound seniors at White Plains High School. Monthly members come together to make sandwiches for Lifting Up Westchester, we regularly donate to various drives to help veterans.

ACTS OF KINDNESS

ACTS OF KINDNESS ♡

  • “ You have helped turn bare apartments into warm, comfortable, and safe homes!  Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for helping our young adults move from foster care to first homes!”

    Mary Theresa McCombe

    Executive Director, Heart to Homes

  • “We understand the the Woman’s Club Foundation calls their work with the community, Acts of Kindness. Having the “Welcome to Your Home Kits” of cleaning supplies to give to our families as they move to their permanent housing has been wonderful. Now we have “We Care Toiletries Kits” for families in the shelter, this is a win-win for the Coachman Family Center. Truly, both contributions are true “Acts of Kindness”

    K. Green Johnson

    Program Director, Coachman Family Center
