1st, 3rd & 4th Saturday of the month: 9:30  - 1
Thrift Shop
Located at the Presbyterian Church on North Broadway and Barker Avenue, it is a collective effort of the Woman’s Club of White Plains, the Scarsdale Woman’s Club and the Hitchcock Presbyterian Church.

Merchandise includes men's, women's and children's clothing, household linens, knick-knacks, china, handbags and more.

Members volunteer at the shop, either working the cash register, decorating and organizing or helping customers.
Every Tuesday: 9:30 - 11:30 am
Marking Committee
The Marking Committee works closely with the Thrift Shop. Donations of items to be sold at the shop are received at the Club and every Tuesday morning members sort through and price them.

Other volunteers help in transporting items to the Shop itself.  Some of the items are also donated to local organizations serving the poor or homeless.
2nd Wednesday of the Month
WICS
Women in Community Service (WICS), has been in existence for over 40 years. This group prepares items for patients at Burke and in hospice.
Throughout the Year
Fundraising
The Club hosts two major fundraisers each year, Corks & Forks in the fall and the Fashion Show Scholarship Luncheon in the spring.

In addition, smaller events such as the Winter Tea and the Holiday Boutique raise money for local non-profits.
Spring & Fall
Community Projects
Twice a year, club members provide food for local organizations to support the hungry.

In November, dozens of cookies are baked for the Salvation Army Thanksgiving dinner baskets. In March, meals are prepared for the homeless at the Lifting Up Westchester soup kitchen.

In addition, we're planning a Pancake Breakfast for Lifting Up Westchester clients.
Spring & Fall
Community Forums
Twice a year, the club hosts community events open to the public.

The Spring Forum is typically dedicated to a topic of community interest, such as fire safety or modern police practices.

This year's Fall Forum will focus on breast and ovarian cancer awareness, with proceeds benefiting Bright Pink.
