In 2010, The Woman’s Club of White Plains Foundation was formed to oversee the Club’s philanthropic efforts. The Woman’s Club of White Plains Foundation is a 501(c) (3) charity. During the year, fundraising events are held to benefit a variety of local causes including local charities as well as scholarships for White Plains High School students. There are also volunteer events during the year that support the community including our newly added Thrift Shop, Baking for Salvation Army and Cooking for Lifting Up Westchester. Read below to find out how you can support our efforts.
The Woman's Club of White Plains Side Door Thrift Shop
The Shop accepts men's, women's and children's clothing and shoes as well as household items. We do NOT accept furniture, books, DVDs or stuffed toys. Donations are accepted at the Woman's Club of White Plains, 305 Ridgeway, White Plains, NY 10605 and can be brought to the Marking Room on Tuesday mornings between 10:00 and 11:15 am (drive down the driveway on the left side of the auditorium and you will see the door) or can be left in the ballroom foyer. Please mark bags left in the foyer for "Marking". If these times are not convenient, contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org. Tax receipts are available. Pop Up Sales are typically held monthly usually on the weekends but the shop is often open Tuesday mornings from 10 - 12 as well. All proceeds from the Thrift Shop support local charities and scholarship programs. THANK YOU!
